Itineraries on demand
Other itineraries are practicable, on the Vienne and other rivers as well (Gartempe, Anglin, Creuse).
You can also ask for a few days raid. You will then need to carry your own camping equipment. The itinerary shall be discussed with the supervisors.
Our rentals are accessible to all, however in order to be covered by our insurance you will need to certify that you can swim 50 m and fearlessly immerse yourself.
The specified rates include the rent of the canoes, the paddles, the life jackets, the waterproof containers and the return from the trip with a van (within the limit of the number of seats available). You must wear the lifejacket during the entire time of the trip. Except in specific cases (field trips, summer camps, etc), no supervision will be provided by the club members, you will be sailing under your own responsibility.
You will have to book your canoe rent by phone. The rent organisation is provided by volunteers thus the day of your trip depends on their availability. It is also preferable that you book your trip at least one week earlier so that volunteer can adapt their schedule.
Don't forget to bring closed shoes, windproof jackets, sun protections and drinking water.
The rates are applied with a 10% reduction for children younger than 13, a 20% reduction when they are under 10 and a 30% one under 8 years old. The rent revenues are used to fund the equipment and the outings of the young kayakers of the club.
Any other necessary indications will be given to you before the trip.
